The 3-axis load cell is a type of sensor that can measure force in three directions and typically consists of three independent single-axis force sensors. Each single-axis force sensor can measure force in one direction and then synthesize the force in these three directions to obtain a complete three-dimensional force vector. These sensors use a bridge circuit to measure the change in force and convert this change into a usable electrical output through an internal signal processing circuit.

A triaxial force sensor can simultaneously measure forces in three directions, including the X, Y, and Z axes. Therefore, it can be used to measure three-dimensional forces such as weight, pressure, and tension on an object. At the same time, multi-axis force sensors can also be used to study the kinetic behavior of objects, such as in the fields of robotics and vehicles, where precise measurement and control of the object's motion state is required.
